D Michael Hisey

D. Michael Hisey

D. Michael Hisey is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Court of Military Appeals. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma in 1972. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Mr. Hisey graduated in 1969 from Central State College, majoring in English with minors in Philosophy and Government. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1972. Mr. Hisey was a Captain in the Marine Corps Judge Advocate Division from 1973-1977. He served as the First Assistant District Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial District of the State of Oklahoma from 1977-1978, then became Special District Judge for Carter County, Oklahoma, from 1978-1984. He has been in private practice since 1984 and has been the municipal Judge in Wilson, Oklahoma since 1989. Along with maintaining his long standing and reputable private practice, Mr. Hisey served as President of the Carter County Bar Association and has been active in civic affairs, serving on and chairing numerous civic boards, including the Arbuckle Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Children's Shelter, and Carter County Jail Advisory Board.

Justin Landgraf

Justin R. Landgraf

Justin R. Landgraf, a native of the Ardmore area, was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2008. Mr. Landgraf attended Oklahoma State University, and received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Agri-Business in 2004. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2008, where he was named to the Dean's Honor Roll. Mr. Landgraf served as Assistant District Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial District of the State of Oklahoma from 2008-2010 before joining the firm. Further, Mr. Landgraf is currently the President of the Carter County Bar Association, serves on the boards of the Ardmore Family Shelter and Carter County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and is on the steering committee of the Ardmore Young Professionals. Mr. Landgraf also serves as the municipal Judge for the City of Healdton, Oklahoma.

Meredith Turpin

Meredith P. Turpin

Meredith P. Turpin was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in September of 2009. Mrs. Turpin attended the University of Oklahoma, where she obtained a Bachelor's of Art in Native American Studies in 2006. She continued on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2009, as well as a Certificate in American Indian Law, and was named to the Dean's Honor Roll. Prior to joining Hisey & Landgraf in April of 2014, Mrs. Turpin was employed in the Land Administration-Division Order Department of Noble Energy, Inc., where she developed an intricate knowledge of the oil and gas industry. She currently serves on the board of the Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma, and is an active member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

Brianna Stuckey

Brianna S. Stuckey

Brianna S. Stuckey is a Paralegal and works primarily with Attorneys Justin R. Landgraf and Meredith P. Turpin. Brianna is a native of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and a graduate of the Paralegal Program at the University of Oklahoma's College of Law. Brianna focuses on the firm’s litigation practice. Brianna is a member of the Oklahoma Paralegal Association.

Amy Burns

Amy L. Burns

Amy L. Burns serves two positions with the firm; she is the firm’s office manager as well as a legal assistant to all attorneys in the firm. Amy is a native of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Amy focuses on the firm’s probate, real property and transactional practice.

Susan Dodd

Susan M. Dodd

Susan M. Dodd is a Legal Assistant with 19 years experience, 12 of which are with the firm. She is the Legal Assistant to Attorney D. Michael Hisey and specializes in the legal fields of Estate Planning, Real Estate, Corporate Law and Adoptions. Susan is a native of Lone Grove, Oklahoma and attended Murray State College. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Paralegal Association.

Taylor N. Robbins is a Legal Assistant to D. Michael Hisey and specializes in Probate and Guardianships. Taylor is a native of Texas and attended Grayson College.
